The Sangeet Piyasi picnic is an immense attraction for the members as it provides a platform for the members to get acquainted with each other and also engage in joyous and fruitful discussions. Members of Sangeet Piyasi go for a picnic every year in December or January. Our members are engaged in different activities throughout the year in their respective work places but at this point of time every member of Sangeet Piyasi gather to celebrate cultural togetherness.

The young students of Sangeet Piyasi are particularly enthusiastic about it as they get to play their favorite games on this occasion. Quiz competition, musical performances and a delightful breakfast and lunch are added attractions of this event.

In a beautiful winter morning the bus leaves with members of Sangeet Piyasi from a predetermined spot. During the journey to the picnic spot, some members crack hillarious jokes and some board the bus from different spots during the course of the journey. Finally the bus reaches the picnic spot and its time for breakfast. The breakfast consists of beautiful light preperations which arouses greater expectations for the lunch menu.

After the breakfast the members get spread out throughout the picnic spot. The young boys go straightway for the cricket spot and start fixing the wickets, the girls either go for badminton or vollyball. Another group creates a space for musical performances by arranging harmonium, tabla and sound systems. And the stage is set for enjoyment.

The best part of Sangeet Piyasi's annual picnic is that every one find companion and no one is left alone. Everyone contributes to the joy and fun.

Some of the other major attractions and events within the picnic are:

1. The quize Competition - This fun filled competition is open to all and everyone participates and whoever gives the correct answer bags a gift.

2. Lottery - This again a very funny game. The memebers are distributed lottery tickets which are very cheaply priced and at the end of the picnic in the evening some very hillarious and pretty prizes are distributed to the winners.

3. More games - Every year some very surprising and innovative games are played in the picnic which are immense source of laughter and enjoyment for the members

At lunch delicious menu is served which everyone enjoys thoroughly. The last part consists of prize distribution of the lottery event and group photograph of the participating members.
